Saward Dawson has been a member of Russell Bedford International network since 2007. The network now has firms in approximately 100 countries, with 350 offices, 700 partners and 6,500 staff. This year Russell Bedford was the winner of the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) Network of the Year award. The IAB world survey ranks Russell Bedford at 17th in the world.

In August this year Bruce Saward assumed the role of Chair of the global board which is made up 9 directors representing Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The role of Chair requires Bruce to work closely with the CEO Stephen Hamlet who is based in London and is an opportunity to contribute to the leadership of a network that has significant global reach.

In Australia, the Russell Bedford network has expanded and now has member firms in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth as well as Melbourne. The annual international conference was held in October in Sydney and it was great to join with the Sydney firm, Camphin Boston, in welcoming our colleagues from around the globe and showing them something of our country and culture.
