Saward Dawson is a dynamic chartered accountancy firm and we offer many accounting student opportunities. We have a strong team culture that exists to serve the needs of others. We do this by employing great people who share a similar ethos and aspire to deliver excellence. This enables our team of over 90 staff to deliver services in the areas of audit & assurance, business advisory, wealth advisory, personal taxation, superannuation, not-for-profit and business taxation and consulting.
Each of our staff members are involved in ongoing professional development and an active in-house mentoring program.

Graduate Program

We are regularly on the lookout for accounting graduates (recently completed or near completion) with an accounting major who are looking to start an exciting and dynamic career in advising and assisting clients in business, not-for-profit entities and individuals.

Our comprehensive training program will nurture your technical skills and we will provide opportunities to work with clients and gain experience by working directly with senior members of the firm. We will ensure that you will have the chance to develop all the professional competencies necessary to become a proficient Chartered Accountant.

Cadetships

A cadetship with Saward Dawson enables university accounting students the opportunity to combine paid employment in the accounting profession with their tertiary accounting studies. Cadets are able to excel in their studies through the provision of challenging and varied work experiences within a flexible working environment.

The cadet program is a permanent, part time opportunity (working 3 days per week in a professional capacity at Saward Dawson. The cadet program is designed as an early entry, accelerated pathway into a graduate role.

Vacation Work

We offer work placements for final year accounting students during the winter and summer holidays.

Our work experience programs are designed for prospective graduates to gain valuable insights into how we work and the impact we make.

Vacationers work standard office hours, Monday to Friday, with plenty of opportunities to contribute, learn, and grow alongside our team.
