Sarah oversees a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses and investment entities, supporting clients with tax compliance, tax planning, GST, payroll setups and accounting software solutions. She has particular expertise in Xero and QuickBooks Online and works closely with clients on business entity setups and restructures. Sarah is passionate about guiding them through these processes, helping them focus on running their businesses. She finds it especially rewarding to celebrate their successes alongside them.
She also has experience performing external CFO responsibilities for a larger group of businesses, where she led the Saward Dawson engagement team. Within the firm, Sarah contributes to staff training and helped develop the Business Advisory Work Experience Program.
Sarah values maintaining balance in life and lives by her motto: “work hard, play hard.”
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys outdoor walks, playing various music instruments and cooking (especially with friends). She's also played the piano and sang at various friends' weddings over the years.
Sarah also enjoys travelling with her highlights being experiencing different cultures and trying different foods!
