Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors

Peter commenced with Saward Dawson in May of 1999 after 9 years with the national accounting firm of BDO Nelson Parkhill. His specific purpose was to lead our Audit Division. Bruce Saward and Cliff Dawson welcomed Peter as a partner of the firm in July 2000. During Peter’s time at Saward Dawson, we have experienced substantial growth in our audit services.

Peter had previous experience with a diversity of audit clients operating in many industries, including a number of publicly listed clients. This has been enhanced through the mix of Saward Dawson clients. His rich experience enables him to undertake specialist consulting roles including due diligence investigations for proposed business purchases.

Peter has a real passion for training and mentoring and leads our staff training and recruiting activities.

Sports: Surfing

Renovating and building. Anything with a hammer and saw.
Peter loves to surf. His photo once featured on the home page of one of Australia's leading surfing web sites! He also likes to renovate, the occasional building project/extension is not beyond his abilities with a hammer and saw. With a growing family, there is always something to keep him busy.

Favourite Holiday Destination:

The annual family holiday in Noosa gives him the chance to relax with his family and possibly catch a wave. For a weekend outside Melbourne, Philip Island is a regular destination.
