We are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Tan as Partner at Saward Dawson, effective 1 July 2026.
Paul’s promotion reflects his outstanding contribution to the firm over more than 16 years, as well as his deep expertise in audit and his ongoing commitment to building strong, trusted client relationships.
As Partner – Audit & Assurance, Paul will assume responsibility as audit engagement partner for a number of our clients. He brings extensive experience across a broad range of industries, including the commercial sector and numerous not-for-profit organisations. His expertise includes statutory financial reporting, governance frameworks, and the provision of assurance services.
Paul also leads our Aid & Mission sector specialisation team and manages the firm’s self-managed superannuation fund audit team. In addition, he works closely with a number of Fair Work Registered Organisations, supporting them with their reporting and compliance requirements.
Paul holds several professional qualifications, including recognition as a Registered Company Auditor, further reinforcing his technical capability and leadership in the audit space.
Outside of the office, Paul enjoys spending time with his young family, as well as travelling, cycling, playing badminton, and exploring good food.
