A Landmark Transformed

Our building at 20 Albert Street, Blackburn, is an eastern suburbs icon. Known for many years as the Vic Roads building, many generations of Melbourne’s drivers have passed through the old front doors to renew licences and the such. We still occasionally get people coming along looking for the old Vic Roads building!

Since our move to Blackburn in early 1999, the building has undergone two major changes. Initially, a new facade and a fully contemporary interior made it an excellent facility for many years.

But as we grew over the next few years, work began in May 2010 to extend the existing building over the former carpark to allow two levels of underground car parking. Our current building enables us to occupy a single level and grow to 85 staff.

State of the Art Facilities

Our facilities are at the fore-front of contemporary building design. Technology drives many of the facilities enabling future technologies to be incorporated without major design changes.

Work areas are open and the design enables plenty of natural light to flood into most areas at all times of the year.
Conference facilities, which include a fully equipped kitchen, a modern board room, fully equiped meeting rooms and extensive car parking are available for staff and clients alike.

Our building project during 2010/11 was extensive and of course, there was plenty of disruption to our daily activities. But the result was certainly worth it.
