Giving and receiving is a big part of Christmas. So often we agonise over that perfect gift. We want our gift to be significant and memorable. Have you, like me had the experience where the present you have appreciated most has not been the most expensive, but something simple that has had great impact?

Having a positive impact is important for Saward Dawson. We strive to make a difference in people’s lives and in organisations and communities. We want to be people of influence. We want to have a positive impact. This means we are actively involved in the not-for-profit sector and we give back by offering discounted services to those who are doing good in our world. It also means we are passionate about people – our clients, our staff and our communities.

At Saward Dawson we have for many years adopted as a summary of our purpose the four words: Serve   Innovate   Grow   Enjoy. We serve the needs and aspirations of our clients and our staff. We focus on delivering innovative solutions. We help our clients grow as well as developing our team and growing our business. We enjoy our work and our relationships.

Being able to make a difference in people’s lives and in organisations and communities keeps us coming back to work each day.

Over the Christmas-New Year period while life is hopefully a bit slower, it is a good opportunity to stop and think about the priorities for you or your business or organisation. Why do you do what you do? What is really important for you? How effective are you in fulfilling that purpose? What are your priorities for the year ahead?

Why not take the time to reflect on some of these questions and develop an action plan that will make 2018 a significant year for you?

We wish all of our clients, friends and colleagues a relaxing, refreshing and enjoyable Christmas and New Year and look forward to connecting with you in 2018. If there are some things that arise from your reflections that we can assist with we would be delighted to help. That’s what we are here for – to make a difference.
